In collaboration with the Activities Office, the Psychology Club (supervised by Miss Rosey Abla - Secondary school counselor) and LAU’s NAPHASS club (supervised by Dr. Shereen Nabahani - IC alumna ’96) organized a health fair for the secondary school community this spring. Students from both clubs worked jointly in the organization of this event. LAU pharmacy students guided and trained the psychology club members on how to promote health awareness in a fun yet educational way. The main themes were cancer, eating disorders and healthy life styles. The event was a lot of fun serving all its purposes, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of Phoenix Foundation – a NGO for human development.
