Teachers standing in the amphitheater for the national anthem

The amphitheater on the Ras Beirut campus has been host mainly to birds and berries for some time. It came into more active use on Monday, September 17 for I.C.'s annual plenary session.
This is a gathering of faculty and staff to mark the official opening of the academic year, present new faculty and announce new appointments. In his remarks to the assembly, I.C. president Dr. Arthur Charles describes teaching as “the noblest of professions because teachers invest themselves in the future of their students and therefore society." He reminded them that this privilege comes with the responsibility to be a role model for students.
Mishka Mojabber Mourani, senior vice president, took great pleasure in announcing the 100% success rate of French Baccalaureate exams and 99.2% in the Lebanese Baccalaureate.
