The IC family gathered for the annual dinner on the occasion of teachers day, during which distinguished faculty and staff were recognized for their service and contributions to IC. The Albert Abela Distinguished Educator Awards were announced as follows:

The recipient of this year’s Edmond Tohme Outstanding Educator Award was Mrs. Wadad Hoss.
The Debbas Staff Awards went to Kifah Badreddine and Nelly Awwad.
The dinner was also an occasion to honor the following employees who have served the College for 25 years: Amal Charara, Amal Naccache and Nicolas Rbeiz.
IC also bade farewell to Samir Assaf, Samia Rocho and Hussein Yassine, members of the IC family who are retiring this year.
The honoring ceremony was followed by the cutting of the traditional cake by President John Johnson, Senior Vice President Mishka Mourani, and President of the Teachers’ Association, Abdellatif Mneimneh.
As a special treat this year, Tatiana Bondorovich and a group of ballroom dancers treated the audience to a wonderful tango, complete with gorgeous costumes.
