"One doesn't discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time". Indeed, this reflects the Ras Beirut students of 5A: pure risk-takers at their deepest heart of hearts. For only when we indulge in risk taking, do our lives become more enriched. The students of 5A have stood like giants in accomplishing their feat this term. In their mission to write book reports and present them orally in class, not only did they exemplify audacity in their presentations in following the necessary rubrics and exhibiting formidable interactive and communicative skills, but they also maintained bold eye contact, meaningful intonation as well as portrayed their sparks of creativity and intelligence through their posters and illustrations. Noteworthy was Khalil Zeidan, who went the extra mile in presenting power point slides: pure visual delight! Indeed, students of 5A have come a long way towards enriching themselves academically and personally; furthermore, the experience of enrichment was not only theirs, but was also mine, in seeing this wonderful transformation!
