The girls are off the blocks for the 50 meter freestyle event.

Taking the ball down the court for one of the goals that earned the IC girls' basketball team the winners' trophy.

On Friday and Saturday, January 18 and 19, Lebanese American University hosted its third annual high school athletic tournament. IC boys and girls basketball and swim teams attended and distinguished themselves in all events in which they participated. The student athletes and their coaches are to be congratulated for the fine performance resulting from hours of practice and a positive attitude. The larger IC community can take pride in the good sportsmanship and gracious winning behavior IC competitors displayed. (More photos follow the results)

The final game in boys' basketball was a close game from beginning to end.

IC swimmers captured the lion's share of first place medals including men's 50 meter freestyle swum using a butterfly stroke.

The girls' swim relay team is happy to accept their first place medals.

All the hours of practice pay their reward in a first place trophy for IC boys' basketball team at the LAU tournament.
