The Educational Resources Center organized an orientation day for new faculty and staff at IC on Monday, Sept. 18. 33 newcomers to IC, from Lebanon and beyond, accompanied by their mentors, gathered in Rockefeller Hall where they were welcomed by President John Johnson and members of the school administration. The new teachers, who include foreign hire teachers from Australia, Canada, France, and the US, were briefed about the school, its programs, projects and activities. The day also included a tour of both campuses at Ras Beirut and Ain Aar. New teachers were accompanied by their mentors. The day ended with a special lunch at Ain Aar and a bus ride back to Beirut.
