Mr. McCurdy with Stone Age students and projects.

Middle School social studies teacher Mr. Mike McCurdy, wants his students to try to have a sense of what daily life may have been like during the Stone Age. He offers class members several possibilities for a project in this unit. Choices range from wall murals imitating cave art to a catalogue detailing Stone Age items, short story or play writing and production. For those who enjoy working with their hands, a scale model, diorama or cardboard woolly mammoth might be an alternative.

One group presents their original Stone Age play for classmates.

Students have several options for working toward gaining a sense of what life may have been like during the Stone Age.
