The libraries at Ain Aar are hosting a book fair during the week of December 3–7. The opening ceremony celebration included librarians, administrators, parents, teachers, students and friends. Me. Phares Zoghbi is a special friend to all school libraries, and as such was a special guest at the opening. Mr. Zoghbi believes in reading and is the owner of a large personal collection of books with 40,000 volumes. Mr. Zoghbi maintains his library in Cornet Chehwan where he generously makes it available to students. In brief remarks to those present at the opening, Mr. Zoghbi observed that the events of September 11 drew us all to the TV screen, and that was a unifying factor. He then emphasized the need to read books in order to appreciate and understand different cultures.

IC president, Dr. Charles, and Me. Zoghbi then cut the ceremonial ribbon to officially open the book fair where everyone is welcome to browse and purchase. Ain Aar librarians hope visitors will consider using the fair as an opportunity to add to the school library collection. When buying for home, think about also buying a few books for school.
 | | The book fair includes a selection to please each age and reading levels. |
 | | You will find interesting items at the book fair that are not books! |
 | | A bakery or candy store is a temporary pleasure, but a book can be a life time of memories. |
