When resources are shared, they are doubled, or in the case of teachers, they are multiplied times the students in that teacher’s class. On Saturday, February 21, IC’s Educational Resources Center welcomed teachers from all over Lebanon as far away as the Bekaa, to share its most valuable resource, our teachers. More than 700 teachers came, in spite of cold, rainy weather, to participate in the 37 workshops offered in English, French and Arabic. Some titles included: The Magic of Poetry, Inspiration: A Mind Mapping Tool for Visual Learning and Curriculum Integration, Acting Out in the Classroom – Theatrics for Class, Argumentation, modes de raisonnement et stratégies, Creating Interactive Maps, Differentiated Instruction: How to Reach All Your Students, The Six Thinking Hats Method, Teaching Research Skills in the Elementary Library and Integrating IT into the Curriculum.
